2011 Shipping Prices
We ship on business days, Monday through Friday. However, due to the perishable nature of our products and varied temperatures across the country, we prefer not to ship orders over the weekend between May and September to ensure the chocolates stay in premium condition upon arrival.
Your gift is shipped ground by USPS or FedEx. within 1 - 4 days, depending on destination. Once received, the chocolates should be kept away from the sun and heat.

Next Day delivery is available.
However, orders must be placed by 11 a.m. (Pacific Time) in order to be sent the following morning. If there are any questions about delivery, please call our toll free number.
Winter Shipping Options (November 1 – April 14)
Our carriers for standard shipping during these months are Fed Ex or USPS, with shipments leaving our Lake Oswego, OR retail store Monday through Thursday.
Summer Shipping Options (April 15 – October 31)
During warm weather conditions, Chocolates by Bernard will take extra precautions to keep your chocolate cool. We always look on the internet to see the temperature in the destination city. We use insulated boxes with ice packs to ensure your chocolates arrive in the best possible condition. When temperatures in the destination city or the hub cities will be 75 degrees F. or above, standard shipping is Next Day or Overnight, with shipments leaving our retail store in Lake Oswego, OR Monday through Thursday. We are unable to deliver on Mondays so as to ensure your chocolates are not sitting in a shipping warehouse over the weekend.
Restrictions:
* Chocolates by Bernard of Lake Oswego, OR is not responsible for the condition of the chocolates with the temperature above 75 degrees in the destination cities. We make every effort to pack our chocolates in insulated boxes with ice packs to ensure the safe arrival of our chocolates. We are not responsible if the carrier leaves the package by the front door in hot weather. It will be the responsibility of the sender to notify the recipient that a package will arrive on a certain date during hot weather months.
* Chocolates by Bernard of Lake Oswego, OR ships by USPS to Post Office Boxes & APO & FPO locations, for your convenience.
* Chocolates by Bernardis not responsible for shipping addresses entered incorrectly. Any additional costs incurred due to incorrect addresses will be the responsibility of the customer.
* When your order weighs over 3 lbs. (including packaging), we will notify you by e-mail or phone that an extra shipping charge may be necessary.
* Please note: Overnight Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii may exceed the overnight rates that are listed. You will be e-mailed or called with the correct price.
